Conner senior guard Jacob Barnes has been nominated as a WLWT5 Beacon Orthopedics Primetime Performer. Barnes scored a game-high 29 points versus Covington Catholic on Tuesday (Jan. 20) including going 6-for-12 from beyond the 3-point line. He is the only player from a Kentucky High School nominated in this week’s poll (which is one reason we have our 859 Sports High Performers).
Barnes is averaging 15 points, 2 rebounds per game and is 34 for 75 (45.3%) from 3-point range. He is also shooting over 72% from the foul line. Conner is 8-8 and is shooting over 38% from 3-point range and 48% from the field as a team.
